No.18 Porchester Gardens Achieves Practical Completion

29.07.2024

We are pleased to announce that No.18 Porchester Gardens has achieved practical completion. Nestled between Notting Hill and Hyde Park, this beautiful collection of 36 homes is set in a palatial Grade II-listed Victorian villa in Bayswater. With a selection of apartments, from one-bedroom lateral homes to duplex penthouses, these residences are set in a building that has been transformed and restored to its original elegance by acclaimed interior design studio, Albion Nord, and award-winning architects, MAP Architecture.

Each residence is characterised by an abundance of natural light, accentuated by large windows and soaring ceilings. The interiors have been modelled around the original architectural structure of the building and finished with a paired-back colour scheme and rich material palette. The apartments are exceptionally tranquil, allowing the grandeur of the original building to shine through.

In addition to wonderful location in Bayswater, close to Hyde Park and brilliant boutiques, galleries and restaurants, No.18 Porchester Gardens is located within the boundaries of the historic Whiteley’s building, formerly London’s first department store. Residents will benefit from access to The Whiteley’s world-class amenities and facilities, which include the Six Senses pool & spa, as well as multiple fitness facilities.

In recent years, Bayswater (W2) has seen a significant resurgence due to its proximity to brilliant shops, restaurants and green spaces, as well as its central location. Within walking distance from some of the best restaurants in this golden postcode – Pharmacy and L’Eto, to name a few – No.18 Porchester Gardens is also a short walk from Notting Hill Gate and Mayfair, as well as fantastic transport links at Marylebone and Paddington.

No.18 Porchester Gardens represents the first acquisition in a joint venture with Oaktree Capital, building on CIT’s extensive track record of prime residential schemes in heritage buildings, including Regents Crescent, London’s first (and only to date) Grade I-listed new build development comprised of 76 units, and the Grade II-listed development, 8 Eaton Lane, in Belgravia, due for completion in 2025.
