CIT purchased Chiswick Lodge in November 2004. Situated adjacent to the river in a sensitive conservation area, with challenging planning constraints, CIT was granted planning permission for 11 large houses in January 2007. Within 18 months of purchase Chiswick Lodge sold at a price delivering substantial gain.
